Suggested Use: The aroma has been used to help respiratory congestion. Topically, it has been used for muscle and joint aches, skin afflictions, poor flow, toning, and detox. Rubbed on the tissue offers a warming effect. It may even help repel insects. Dilute this essential oil to at least 2% with topical use, which equals about 10 drops of essential oil per ounce of carrier oil.
History: Juniper berries have been used throught history around the world. This herb has been found in ancient Egyptian tombs and in ancient Greek books. It has been reverred for generations in European cuisine for its sharp fresh flavor. Native Indians of North America used juniper berries for a variety of health remedies and made beads for necklaces from the dried fruit.
